Adding a New User for the greetingcardproSQL database

1. Create New Login for greetingcardproSQL database access.  Within SQL Server Enterprise Manager, expand the tree down to Security.

2. Right-mouse click on Logins and Select New Login.

3. Enter the name of the new user such as "greetingcardproADMIN"
   
   

4. Choose SQL Server authentication.

5. Enter Password = “admin1” or another unique password.

6. Under Database, select the appropriate greetingcardproSQL database.

7. Select the Database Access tab.

8. Click the Permit check box for the greetingcardproSQL database.  Under Database Roles check the box for db_owner.
   
   

9. Click OK and confirm password.

10. Notify greetingcardproSQL database owner that the database is now available and what the appropriate username and passwords have been set to.
